Why English Is Important For My Major?

First, my major is accounting. And why English is important for my major? Of course it is important, because English is our international language. And beside that English is important not for my major only but English is important for all major now. We can’t deny English is really important in our life now. With the rapid of evolution makes our relationship between the peoples from all around the world is become closer. And the international language, English, makes us easier to communicate with each other.

So many country in the world make a cooperation with another country. Such as cooperate in economy sector, education sector, etc. A Relationship like that will be so difficult if there are not language that could conveying their vision or purpose to make these cooperation. With the truth that we all know so there is not excuse anymore to questioning why English is important in our life.

            

But I will explain specifically why English is important in accounting major. Maybe some of people think that English is not too important for our major. But it definitely important as you know. Every company, in manufacture sector or service, is need to make a financial statement in the end of period. The purpose of Financial Statement is to report a condition of company financial for Internal and External side. One of that include external side is investor. Investor need financial statement of the company so that the investor can make analysis from the financial statement to make a decision on invest. Investor that make invest in Indonesia is not just from our country but also from another country. Indeed, an accountant must serve financial statement in two languages, Indonesia and English. No matter where country the investor from, but English will be understood by all of them. So this is that make English is very important for my major, Accounting.
